THE LAGRANT FOUNDATION SELECTS THE 2010 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
LOS ANGELES (April 28, 2010) – The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) has selected 20 ethnic minority undergraduate and graduate students majoring in advertising, marketing or public relations as the 2010 scholarship recipients. TLF will be awarding a total of $125,000 in scholarships.
Undergraduate students will each be awarded with a $5,000 scholarship and graduate students will each be awarded with a $10,000 scholarship. Since its inception in 1998, The LAGRANT foundation has awarded close to $1 million to more than 130 ethnic minority students nationwide
The following are the 2010 undergraduate scholarship recipients:

TLF was established in 1998 by Mr. Kim L. Hunter, whose vision is to see more ethnic representation within the fields of advertising, marketing and public relations. By targeting college students, TLF paves the path toward a successful career right from the start.
Scholarship recipients will be flown to New York City where they will receive their scholarship at TLF’s 12th Anniversary Scholarship Recognition Reception and Awards Program. The event, sponsored by Ogilvy Public Relations, will take place on Monday, June 7, 2010.
The keynote speaker will be Ogilvy & Mather Chairman Shelly Lazarus and the master of ceremonies will be CNN National Correspondent Jason Carroll. While in New York, the scholarship recipients will also participate in a daylong career development workshop and have the opportunity to meet with industry professionals.
Thanks to its committed board of directors and donors, TLF continues to strive toward achieving its mission of increasing ethnic minorities in advertising, marketing and public relations.
